The CBH-1.0 microscope module allows users to customize most commercially available optical microscopes.

The CBH-1.0 microscope module from Siskiyou Corporation (Grants Pass, OR) allows users to customize most commercially available optical microscopes. The module features a cube beamsplitter assembly that sits in the infinity space of a conventional microscope, and provides open access in two orthogonal axes perpendicular to the microscope tube axis to form a foundation for attaching other optomechanical modules. It enables a conventional fluorescence microscope to be configured for sophisticated imaging applications, such as combining wide-field imaging with local fluorescence excitation and probing in applications from optogenetics to photosynthesis studies.
