Day/night camera for medical and scientific imaging by Imperx

May 11, 2016
The PUMA 2 Mpixel day/night camera captures 1080p video in applications with widely varying lighting conditions, including scientific and medical imaging.

The PUMA 2 Mpixel, 1080p day/night camera by Imperx (Boca Raton, FL) combines ON Semiconductor's Interline Transfer (IT) CCD pixel design with a newly developed electron multiplication (EM) output structure, enabling an image sensor that delivers sub-electron noise performance with CCD image quality and uniformity for low-light imaging. The camera captures 1080p (1920 × 1080) video in applications with widely varying lighting conditions, including scientific and medical imaging, among others.
