The pco.edge 3.1 and 4.2LT scientific CMOS (sCMOS) cameras from PCO (Kelheim, Germany) provide various selectable readout modes for advanced microscopy, including a light-sheet microscopy mode. pco.edge 3.1 specifications include 2048 × 1536 pixel resolution, maximum speed of 50 frames/s, 1.1 e- med readout noise, and >60% quantum efficiency, while pco.edge 4.2LT offers 2048 × 2048 pixels, 40 frames/s, 0.8 e- med readout noise, and >70% quantum efficiency.
