The MRS CellLIVE in vivomolecular imaging system from MR Solutions (Guildford, Surrey, England) can examine the interior of a sedated animal down to the cellular level at up to 1000X magnification. The system, including scientific analysis software, facilitates optical microscopy of small animal subjects for preclinical research without having to carry out a dissection. Applications for the system include cell tracking and distribution, tumor angiogenesis and oncology, and neurobiology.
