The Millennia diode-pumped visible-laser source provides 5 W of 532-nm green TEM00 output with beam pointing and power stabilities equal to actively stabilized argon-ion lasers. But the laser features ten times lower optical noise and 100 times improved wall-plug efficiency compared to argon-ion lasers. Applications include spectroscopy, semiconductor inspection, reprographics, and medical uses. The Millennia is also designed to be coupled directly to the company`s CW and modelocked Ti:sapphire
