Intensified CCD cameras

Nov. 1, 1994
Selfcontained intensified chargecoupleddevice (CCD) cameras for spectroscopy and other applications are available. These remotely controllable cameras feature 5ns shutter speeds and a f/0.8 coupling lens for distortionfree imaging in highspeed and lowlightlevel analysis. Single photon detection with a measured signaltonoise ratio of 17:1 is possible.
