Avantes expands operations in England

Apeldoorn, The Netherlands--Fiber-optic spectroscopy solutions maker Avantes will expand its operations in a new, UK-based office, Avantes (UK) Ltd., in Leatherhead, Surrey, England. Managing director Keith James will lead operations there, which will begin in January 2012.

The expansion falls on the heels of Avantes' move to its new world headquarters in Apeldoorn.
