Santa Ana, CA--Optical manufacturing, glass fabrication, and precision thin-film coatings company Precision Glass & Optics (PG&O) has signed an exclusive West Coast distributorship agreement with Schott North America for their Supremax 33 rolled sheet borosilicate glass. With identical composition to the company's Borofloat glass, Supremax 33 is a rolled glass offered in thicknesses from 28.6 to 66.70 mm for extensive applications.
PG&O’s manufacturing capabilities include customized glass fabrication and precision optical coating services on any thickness of Supremax 33. Its physical and chemical properties include low thermal expansion and high thermal resistance, light transmission, and chemical durability. The versatile, low-density glass is 12 percent lighter than soda lime glass and made of non-hazardous raw materials, allowing it to be recycled several times and disposed of properly.
