Geel, Belgium--Fiber Bragg gratings maker FBGS appointed two new staff to support the company's growth into Europe and North America: Nick Plescia and David Johnson, who will help coordinate and support commercial activities in these regions.
Plescia, a fiber-optic specialist, will serve as the North American sales contact, based from his home in Montreal, QC, Canada. Johnson comes from the test and measurement industry, having worked in marketing and sales roles with traditional sensor technologies in South Africa and the UK, where he established routes to market and the introduction of new sensor technologies. He now serves as the company's sales and marketing manager for Europe.
