U.S. Navy Expeditionary Combat Command places $17.9 million order from FLIR Systems

PORTLAND, OR - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced that it has received a $17.9 million delivery order from the U.S. Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) for its SeaFLIR maritime imaging systems.

PORTLAND, OR - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced that it has received a $17.9 million delivery order from the U.S. Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) for its SeaFLIR maritime imaging systems. The systems are expected to be deployed on U.S. Navy Patrol Boats.

The SeaFLIR product line is currently deployed for such diverse missions as search and rescue, interdiction, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting applications. In addition, all variants of the SeaFLIR are engineered, designed, and qualified for operation in the harshest maritime conditions.

Work under this contract will be performed primarily out of FLIR's facility in North Billerica, MA, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.
