Rochester, NY--IDEX Optics & Photonics (IOP) has named Dr. Turan Erdogan to vice president of marketing & business development, a role in which he will oversee all of the customer and product marketing activities for the company.
Previously, Erdogan served as the chief technology officer for IOP and was responsible for the optics technology and long-range product development for all of the company's businesses. He will continue his involvement in product development and also focus on important strategic growth initiatives for all of the current companies within IOP.
Erdogan was co-founder and CTO of Semrock in 2000, which was acquired by IDEX in 2008 as the first optics company for the corporation.
