The new 1060 nm YLPS-20 ps ytterbium fiber laser provides high peak power with scalable average power >20 W, short pulse duration <50 ps at full operational frequency range of 10–700 kHz. Featuring M2 of <1.3, the novel fiber laser is suited for applications in the solar/photovoltaic arena, resistor trimming and marking of transparent materials. IPG Photonics
