Brian Wong, PhD, MD

Brian Wong, PhD, MD, holds a number of titles at Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic at the University of California, Irvine, including three in the School of Medicine (Professor and Vice Chairman, Otolaryngology--Head and Neck; Professor, Surgery; and Chief and Fellowship Director, Div. Facial Plastic Surgery) and one in the Samueli School of Engineering (Professor, Biomedical Engineering). Dr. Wong specializes in aesthetic, corrective, and reconstructive facial surgery, with an emphasis on rhinoplasty. He is also a specialist in reconstructive cranio-maxillofacial surgery, and in the treatment of vascular tumors of the head and neck. He directs a large research laboratory focusing on the development of new ways to reshape and regenerate living tissues, as well as perform minimally invasive surgery and optical imaging.
