Brian C. Smith, Ph.D.

Brian C. Smith, Ph.D. is a Spectroscopy Applications Specialist at Princeton Instruments. He has 30+ years experience as a spectroscopist. Prior to joining Princeton Instruments he spent 20 years as a spectroscopic trainer and consultant at Spectros Associates. Dr. Smith has written three books on spectroscopy, Fundamentals of FTIR and Infrared Spectral Interpretation published by Taylor and Francis, and Quantitative Spectroscopy: Theory and Practice, published by Elsevier. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College.
