TRUMPF training programs certified

Farmington, CT-TRUMPF Inc.'s (www.us.trumpf.com) customer training programs are now certified by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

Farmington, CT-TRUMPF Inc.’s (www.us.trumpf.com)customer training programs are now certified by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Customers attending the company’s training classes will receive continuing education units (CEUs) authorized by the IACET. These CEUs can be translated to academic credit at many colleges or used to sustain various certifications.

To become an authorized IACET CEU provider, the company completed a comprehensive application, underwent a strict evaluation of its educational processes by continuing education peers, and passed two reviews by IACET’s commission and a site visit by an IACET commissioner.

According to the company, each year nearly 1500 people attend the more than 200 product training courses on topics such as flatsheet laser cutting, punching, bending, solid-state and CO2 multi-axis laser cutting and welding.
