Herrmann, MO - Laser Light Technologies Inc. (LLTI), a key player in the global micromachining industry, is a full-service contract and design manufacturer specializing in R&D for new products, rapid prototyping/validation, system integration, and high-volume production services. The company is bringing innovation to the marketplace through the use of laser engraving bricks in color.

Fundraisingbrick.com, a subsidiary of LLTI, is showcasing brick engraving capabilities through its patented Vitri-color process. Leveraging this technology, Fundraisingbrick.com pioneered the brick engraving industry, which set the standard for subsequent technology developments such as the Vitri-Color process.

Laser engraving takes images and changes them into ceramic by intense heat with no paint, ink, or epoxy fillers added. The company is the only firm offering laser engraving in cobalt blue and green, along with the industry standard of black.

Fundraisingbrick.com has chosen to use laser engraving exclusively because it believes the product is superior to other processes. Unlike sand carving techniques, laser vitrification does not produce a cavity, which attracts dirt and debris and invites erosion due to the inevitable freeze-thaw cycle in some harsh climates. Also, as the brick engraving deteriorates, it can leave large gaps on the surface, which can be a danger to small heels on ladies’ shoes or to walking canes or other self-assist devices.

The laser vitrification image is not affected by ultraviolet light and is completely resistant to fading. The results from an independent lab indicate the laser engravings appeared quite durable and resistant to weathering. Unlike other brick engraving processes, this low-maintenance product requires minimal care.

Fundraisingbrick.com offers its customers “Memories Marked in Time” through a laser engraved brick program. These memorial walkways or walls are lasting memorials that can be enjoyed by generations in the future and now can be enjoyed in permanent color. An outstanding example is the Heroes Memorial Courtyard in Fenton, Missouri, shown here. To learn more about this technology visit the company website at www.fundraisingbrick.com.
