Scanlab has introduced its intelliSCAN III 20 laser scan head, which has uses in 3D printing and laser cutting.

Puchheim, Germany - Scanlab has introduced its intelliSCAN III 20 laser scan head features a 20mm aperture for large-image-field applications such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

The laser scan head has a wide range of options and efficient digital-servo algorithms, as well as application-specific and customer-specific tunings. Its electronics provide comprehensive diagnostic and communication functionality, while the company's dynAXIS 3 galvanometer scanners ensure reduced long-term and temperature drifts.

The laser scan head also has uses in industrial applications requiring multiple shifts and 24/7 operation.
