Utilizing the power of 3D CAD design, the M 080 enables complex designs that have previously been constrained by manufacturing processes. The M 080 utilizes a direct-metal laser sintering (DMLS) process to build precious metal designs layer by layer, melting fine metal powder with a laser. With this technology, intricate one-off 3D designs can be manufactured within a few hours.
Baselworld 2015 attendees who visit the booth will be able to see the direct-metal laser 3D printing technology in action, learn more about the M 080 and its technological capabilities, and see examples of jewelry produced with the system.
