Photonics Industries, a DPSS laser manufacturer, has expanded in response to growing demand by moving to a larger facility.

Ronkonkoma, NY - Photonics Industries, a diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser manufacturer, has expanded in response to growing demand for its products by moving into a new building that triples the size of its old Bohemia, NY-based facility.

The company's growth in the industrial and scientific laser markets in the US; its subsidiaries in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China; and its global distribution network has led to the purchase of a 67,000-sq-ft. facility in Ronkonkoma. The new building is less than 2 miles from its former Bohemia facility, and the company is adding 8000 sq. ft. of new clean room facilities to its existing 6000 sq. ft. allotted for that purpose. Total investment for the new building exceeds $8 million.
