Shawnee, KS - Precision manufacturing firm C&R Manufacturing celebrated its 35th anniversary by installing two new machining centers and a laser marking system.
An Epilog FiberMark laser marking system (with 12 × 2 in. capacity) was added to help improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times. A Hurco VMX42i VMC and a second VMX3OUi 5-axis machining center with an integrated trunion table will help to keep customers' costs down.
C&R's 18 employees operate in a 32,000-sq-ft. facility with an array of CNC equipment, including mills, live tool lathes, horizontal machining centers with pallets, and 5-axis waterjet cutting.
Industries that the company serves include medical, electrical, machine tool, automotive after-market, trucking, construction, work-holding, rail, energy, material handling, and woodworking, among others.
