Santa Clara, CA – Spectra-Physics has introduced its Solstice Ace one-box ultrafast amplifier that, when pumped with the company's Ascend >60W high-power pump lasers, features high energy of >7mJ and high power of >8W for use in laser micromachining. Pulse width configurations cover the <35 to <120fs range, with 1–10kHz capability. Subjected to rigorous quality standards and reliability tests, the amplifier demonstrates long-term stable performance with low noise and day-to-day reproducibility. Long-term stability is guaranteed over a 10°C temperature range to ensure reliable data collection. The company's Ace cavity provides beam quality and stability for driving optical parameter amplifier (OPA) systems with M2 <1.25.
