SSAB's Laser Plus steels for laser cutting offer maximum flatness deviation of 3mm/m after cutting and inner bending radius of 0-1.5 X the material thickness, allowing them to meet challenging requirements in automated production environments.

Stockholm, Sweden - SSAB's Laser Plus steels for laser cutting offer maximum flatness deviation of 3mm/m after cutting and inner bending radius of 0-1.5 X the material thickness, allowing them to meet challenging requirements in automated production environments, such as for automotive and electronics. The steels' surface is covered with a thin micro scale, which is said to enable efficient laser, water, and plasma cutting. Cut edge quality is consistent in thicknesses up to 30mm. Heavy plates and hot-rolled strip products are available.
