The LNA-DV laser welding system from LNA Laser (Pawtucket, RI) is available with 60, 80, or 85W average power levels, with adjustable pulse duration from 0.3 to 30ms and pulse repetition rates up to 50Hz. Features include a patent-pending vision system eliminates eye strain associated with traditional vision or microscope-based viewing systems, a zoom image function, and reticules and crosshairs that can double as a measurement tool. By connecting to an Ethernet cable, remote system diagnostics or user control can be interactive with one of the company's engineers. Typical industry applications include jewelry production/repair, dental laboratories, medical devices, and small mold repair, among others.
