Linear motor positioning stages

Sept. 1, 2016
The PRO115LM and PRO190LM industrial linear motor positioning stages feature absolute encoder options.

The PRO115LM and PRO190LM industrial linear motor positioning stages from Aerotech (Pittsburgh, PA) feature absolute encoder options, a long-life recirculating linear guide bearing system, and a low-friction sealing solution for use in laser machining applications. Incremental and absolute encoders are available as standard options, and enable minimum incremental motion down to 5nm and sub-micrometer repeatability. Optional HALAR factory calibration improves positioning accuracy to ±0.75μm. Travels range from 50 to 1500mm for standard models, with speeds to 2 m/s. An ironless forcer coil provides high force with zero cogging for smooth velocity and position control. Cleanroom prepared and vacuum versions are available.
