Trumpf has introduced a version of its TruLaser Robot 5020 Basic Edition laser welding system that includes the company's TruDiode laser.

Trumpf (Farmington, CT) has introduced a version of its TruLaser Robot 5020 Basic Edition laser welding system that includes the company's TruDiode laser, which can reduce initial outlay costs for subcontractors by up to 20%. The system has a 30m2 footprint and can perform automated deep penetration and heat conduction welding in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum up to 4mm thick. A rotate-and-tilt positioner further boosts productivity.
