LVD Strippit to showcase 6kW fiber laser system at Fabtech 2016

Oct. 25, 2016
The Phoenix FL fiber laser system features a welded steel frame construction that minimizes deformation caused by high acceleration.

The Phoenix FL fiber laser system features a welded steel frame construction that minimizes deformation caused by high acceleration. Powered by a 6kW solid-state doped fiber laser source, the system can process a wide range of material types and thicknesses. Advanced cutting head technology features automated adjustment of focus position and focus diameter. A lightweight, high-rigidity beam delivery system allows for highly dynamic processing. Machine uptime is maximized with an integrated automatic shuttle table system that allows one table to be loaded while the machine is cutting on the other table, with table change time in 30s. Automation options include Compact Tower (CT-L) and Flexible Automation for Lasers (FA-L).
