Horizon Solutions enters into partnership with laser marking system maker MECCO

Horizon Solutions has entered into a distribution partnership with laser marking systems maker MECCO.

Horizon Solutions (Rochester, NY), a wholesale distributor of electrical, automation and industrial products in upstate New York and New England, has entered into a new partnership with MECCO (Cranberry Township, PA), a Rockwell Automation Encompass Partner. Horizon Solutions will distribute the MECCO line in upstate New York and northern New England.

MECCO provides quality marking systems that feature factory-ready connectivity to integrate directly into factory automation networks. The company's two product marking lines, Laser Marking Systems and Dot Peen Marking Systems, offer a full range of cost-effective technologies for workstations, handheld, and integrated production lines.

Horizon Solutions will distribute the MECCO Laser and Dot Peen Marking Systems in upstate New York and northern New England.

"Adding the MECCO Dot Peen and Laser Marking line to our industrial automation offering enables us to provide our customers with simplified marking and real-time traceability. MECCO's Ethernet/IP-enabled architecture provides the ability to track and trace product via barcodes and serial numbers throughout its history and provides access to key information, as well as the ability to automate processes through Logix integration. The MECCO part identification system provides the most consistent and versatile direct marking method available," says Jim Bischoff, director of automation at Horizon Solutions.
