Vortec's air flow amplifiers extract smoke, fumes, and debris from welding to enhance safety, ergonomics, and productivity.

Vortec (Cincinnati, OH)'s air flow amplifiers extract smoke, fumes, and debris from welding to enhance safety, ergonomics, and productivity. Their high-flow, bladeless operation takes ordinary compressed air and amplifies it up to 60-fold, in unducted applications, with no moving parts. With no electrical requirements, they can be mounted wherever there is compressed air, and their quiet operation meets OSHA noise requirements. The amplifiers are available in multiple sizes, in either aluminum or stainless steel, to deliver flow rates from 32 to 2300 SCFM. Their dual-function capability enhances their utility in industrial and commercial environments.
