Laser and resistance welding, marking, and cutting equipment and systems maker Amada Miyachi Europe (Munich, Germany) has acquired MacGregor Welding Systems (Mildenhall, Suffolk, England), which designs and manufactures precision micro-joining equipment. MacGregor Welding Systems' products include DC micro resistance welding equipment, as well as micro pulsed-arc, percussive-arc, and other welding technologies. With this acquisition, Amada Miyachi Europe is able to expand its range of products and services to meet the joining needs of its global customer base.
