Laser texturing machines

Feb. 10, 2016
The LASER P 400 and LASER P 400U laser texturing machines line has uses in laser engraving, texturing, and structuring small parts for watches, jewelry, cutting tools, small inserts, and micromachined workpieces, among others.

GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, IL) has introduced its LASER P 400 and LASER P 400U laser texturing machines line for laser engraving, texturing, and structuring small parts for watches, jewelry, cutting tools, small inserts, and micromachined workpieces, among others. A dual fiber nanosecond and femtosecond pulsed laser head allows texturing and engraving of a surface with a single setup, while a 48.4 × 87.8in. footprint enables integration into an existing production environment.

The LASER P 400 accommodates workpieces up to 23.6 × 15.7 × 9.8in., while the LASER P 400U accommodates workpieces with a maximum diameter and height of 4.7in.
