• High Tech Laser improves laser cutting services with new CO2 laser

    The Missouri company has purchased a 400 W Kern laser to provide better cutting and etching services.

    Lee's Summit, MO - High Tech Laser & Polishing has taken another step to ensure its place in the laser engraving industry by purchasing a state-of-the-art CO2 laser to provide better quality cutting and etching services for laser cutting virtually any material, from mild steel to hardwoods. The bed size is 60 in. x 120 in. to give an idea of the material size it will accept.

    The new 400 W Kern CO2 laser enables the company to provide the precision in laser cutting services that are required in various market sectors such as medical, industrial/OEM, and the defense/government sector, including the aerospace industries.

    In offering a wide range of specific laser cutting and laser etching services, High Tech Laser & Polishing has partnered with other service-type companies to offer their customers a "one stop shop" for anodizing, powder coating, plating, and manufacturing. They offer these services in the development stages to the high production stage.

    High Tech started in 1985 as a company that polished molds for the plastics industry. Seven years later, it added laser cutting services and became High Tech Laser & Polishing.
