Universal Laser Systems expands its OEM 10.6 micron 200 and 400 W lasers.

Scottsdale, AZ - Universal Laser Systems Inc. is expanding its OEM 10.6 micron CO2 laser offerings for the OEM market to include two new lasers, a single resonator 200 W laser and an optically-combined dual resonator 400 W laser. Compact and adaptable to a multitude of applications, the lasers feature built-in RF power supply and patented in-line air cooling. Power supply operates on 48 Vdc and includes communication port for monitoring laser status, while temperature-controlled fans allow quiet operation at lower duty cycles. Both lasers are optionally available with pointer and water cooling.

Both lasers, available with a 30-day Laser Evaluation Program in October 2013, are fully- integrated with built-in RF power supplies and patented in-line air cooling (patent #7,715,454), making them the first and only air-cooled lasers in this power range.

These lasers employ a folded, slab resonator design making them compact and adaptable to a multitude of applications with excellent beam quality and power stability. A new robust RF power supply design operates on 48 Volts DC and includes a communication port for monitoring laser status. Temperature-controlled fans allow quiet operation at lower duty cycles. Both lasers are optionally available with a pointer; water cooling is also an option/
