The manufacturer of handrail fittings and metal products has added a Bystronic BySprint fiber laser cutting system.

Milwaukee, WI - The Wagner Companies, a manufacturer of handrail fittings and metal products for architectural and industrial applications, has added a Bystronic BySprint fiber laser cutting system that relies on high-tech fiber-optic technology to cut varying metals with precision and speed.

This Bysprint fiber laser system provides high efficient cutting, integrated automation and is highly energy efficient. It can cut thin to medium-thick sheet materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other nonferrous metals. Unlike CO2 laser cutting systems, gas is no longer required, which reduces operating costs.

The Bystronic laser cutting system uses 4000 W of focused power to process steel plates up to 5/8 in., aluminum up to 3/8 in., stainless steel up to 0.5 in., galvanized steel up to 3/16 in., and other non-ferrous metals up to 5/16 in. It features a 60 in. by 120 in. bed and utilizes cutting-edge programming software for accurate and reliable production.

This laser cutting system also includes the ByTrans Extended Loading System, which allows for fast job processing; a complete loading and unloading cycle takes only 60 seconds and makes the laser cutting system fully automatic.

The main product lines of The Wagner Companies, in business since 1850, include: architectural railing components and systems and industrial original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products. The company offers laser cutting, bending, stamping and metal polishing capabilities, as well as engineering assistance. The company also has a large inventory of raw materials and over 7800 stock items in steel, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel.
