Double success for laser cutting specialists

Cutting Technologies Ltd, a UK company that laser cuts and engraves a variety of materials including wood and fabric, has recently won two awards.

Barnsley, UK - A well-executed growth strategy coupled with bold diversification has helped Cutting Technologies Ltd., a specialist in laser cutting and engraving a variety of materials including wood, plastics, metal, and fabric, to win two awards recently.

The Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber Business Awards honored the company with the Begbies Traynor Business Growth Award and the Tata Steel Excellence in Manufacturing Award.

Judges praised Cutting Technologies by saying: "The directors demonstrated an ability to adapt in order to achieve goals. A company creating not only jobs but skilled jobs should be applauded."

"Cutting Technologies really did show all-round excellence and great support to the Regional Manufacturing Agenda," added the judges. The company knows its "customers and support their needs through new product development. They have an energy of a company on the move, supported by a strong sense of creativity and business sector knowledge."

Cutting Technologies has manufactured everything from laser cut latex clothing for Paris Couture Week to hundreds of engraved cider pumps for Rekorderlig. The company is featured in the November/December issue of Industrial Laser Solutions magazine.
