Laser cutting seminars and demonstrations at Mazak

Mazak Optonics Corp. to host Laser Technology Days on July 24 and 25 in Elgin, IL.

Elgin, IL - Mazak Optonics Corp. will be hosting Laser Technology Days on Wed. July 24 and Thurs. July 25, 2013. The event offers cutting-edge seminars and the opportunity to view emerging technology in action on laser cutting machines at the company's large laser-dedicated Technology Center.

The program seminars will cover a wide range of technology-focused topics including automated setup, material automation, fiber application, and tube and pipe application. Each seminar will be presented by knowledgeable Mazak staff members, available to answer questions and perform demonstrations throughout the day.

A highlight of Laser Technology Days will be the global introduction of the OPTIPLEX CO2 job shop laser cutting system in the new 6 kW and 4020 (6x12) configurations. In addition, there will be 14 active laser cutting machines on display, including the OPTIPLEX 3015 4kW fiber and the new FABRI GEAR MkII tube cutting and pipe cutting system. There will also be compact automation cells and FMS systems available for demonstration. A catered lunch is also included.
