SigmaTek Systems introduces the SigmaMRP system designed for the fabrication industry.

Cincinnati, OH - SigmaTEK Systems, a provider of CAD/CAM nesting and manufacturing business automation solutions, has introduced its newest offering: SigmaMRP™. Developed for the specific requirements of the fabrication industry, SigmaMRP is a manufacturing resource planning (MRP) system that manages transactions and communication with customers and suppliers, inventory of goods and raw materials, along with departmental and outsourced processes.

"SigmaMRP was created to fill a specific niche within the fabrication industry," explains SigmaMRP product manager Keith Brown. "In addition to inventory, work order, process scheduling and progress tracking, fabricators who cut, bend, or punch are faced with a need to catalog and recall remnants for future jobs. SigmaMRP is an affordable yet robust system offering the ability to grow along with a manufacturer’s requirements."

SigmaMRP integrates with SolidWorks® to import, unfold, nest, fabricate, and manage native SolidWorks assemblies. SigmaMRP is tightly integrated with SigmaNEST CAD/CAM nesting software for quoting, work orders, and inventory control. It facilitates the specification, quoting and scheduling of manufacturing jobs, tracks inventory, automatically generates all necessary documents for trade, planning and manufacturing, and maintains a history of all communications. SigmaMRP also offers a number of powerful specialized modules, including Shop Floor Data Collection and Marketing Campaign Planning and Analysis.
