Laser jobshoppers share experiences at SALA

Hartford, Conn. – It has often been said that industrial laser jobshops are like a faucet; their customers can turn them off and on at will. That’s the nature of the business. Attendees at this year's SALA event will hear the experiences of four jobshops in a panel discussion: “The Role of Jobshops in Support of Manufacturers.”

Hartford, Conn. – It has often been said that industrial laser jobshops are like a faucet; their customers can turn them off and on at will. That’s the nature of the business. If you are the owner and you don’t have a strong stomach and an understanding family, then you may not want to indulge in this up and down market.

However, running a jobshop does have attractive aspects. Attendees at this year's SALA event (Hartford Hilton Hotel, April 13 to 14) will hear the experiences of four jobshops – Photomachining Inc, Joining Technologies, Hayden Corp., and Directed Light Inc. – that will share their company’s market perspective as company management participates in a panel discussion: “The Role of Jobshops in Support of Manufacturers.”

This sure-to-be-lively panel will cap the two-day SALA sessions preceding the facility tour of the CCAT Laser Applications Lab, itself a sort of jobshop.

There is still to register for SALA. If you do it now, you won't miss out on this important laser applications user’s conference. Click here to register.
