Cincinnati, Ohio – SigmaTEK has announced its participation in the annual 3D CAD event, SolidWorks World, which is hosted by SolidWorks, a major developer of 3D modeling software, on January 23 to 26 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX.

Thousands of engineers will gather to learn about manufacturing design and to explore the future of various technologies. SigmaTEK will be presenting some of its newest solutions for fabricators.

Jim Lindsey, SigmaNEST product manager, will be speaking on “SigmaTUBE Automatic Tube Cutting Software” on Monday, January 24, at 7pm in the Certified Partner Theater. The SigmaTEK booth will be located at #619 and will be exhibiting the CAD/CAM nesting software SigmaNEST, SigmaTUBE, & SolidNEST.

SigmaTUBE™ is a complete tube-cutting software solution that runs seamlessly integrated inside SolidWorks®. Designed for tube-cutting laser and plasma machines, SigmaTUBE offers linear nesting and NC Code generation for round pipe, rectangular tube, and other cross sections.

SolidNEST 2.0 is an automatic nesting and NC programming solution for sheet metal and profile cutting machines that runs inside the familiar SolidWorks interface. SolidNEST eliminates the need to export design components into a CAM software system for additional processing. SolidNEST is a certified Gold Partner product.
