Laser Photonics, Lake Mary, Fla., has introduced the FLM XP standalone version of the compact fiber laser marking system. It is equipped with a scanning head and programmable z-axis.

Operating as a standalone unit or as part of an in-line assembly line system, the FLM XP incorporates a fiber laser with scan head, industrial pc controller, power supply, Fiberscan C3 marking software and a laser safety enclosure. The FLM XP is powered by 110 VAC outlet, and with its plug-and-play capabilities, it is now easier than ever to set up and begin producing high quality marks on production parts.

Features include: an oversized opening for easy access; an exhaust outlet; an interior cabinet light; a consumable-free direct part marking on virtually any material; a heavy duty laser safety enclosure with viewing window for visualization of lasing process and visual alignment; ; a standard 160 F-Theta lenses — others available to increase marking field; maintenance free operation: 50,000 -100,000 MTBF; small spot size for extremely high quality marks; low voltage power source (110/220 VAC); and excellent beam quality (M2 < 1.05).
