Shanghai, China – Industrial Laser Solutions' colleagues in China at Ringier Trade Media Ltd. announce their most important conference to date, Green Manufacturing China 2011 – The Summit for Technology, Solutions and Best Practices, to be held Nov 17 to 18, 2011, in Shanghai.

Green Manufacturing China 2011 will be a landmark event in addressing green manufacturing technology, optimizing the manufacturing process and sustainable manufacturing solutions. Companies can showcase their latest energy efficient machinery and environmentally responsible materials, clean energy inputs, and manufacturing processes.

This is an important topic in the world today and even more important to China. The recent China Party Congress meeting specifically made clean manufacturing a strategic objective for the nation over the next 5 year development plan. The Chinese government has committed to dramatically reducing its carbon footprint by reducing environmental degradation and emissions caused by human activity. This includes implementing policy to reduce environmentally damaging energy and material inputs used in the manufacturing process.

The event will be attended by former state leaders, ambassadors, and minister level Chinese officials. It is shaping up to be the networking event of the year, with active participation from the German, Swiss and EU Chambers of Commerce, which are Organizing Partners.

Gerhard Schroeder, former Chancellor of Germany and Honorary Director of Green Manufacturing China 2011, says, “This conference addresses today’s very timely question of how manufacturing organizations in China can reduce their carbon footprint. Dirty and inefficient manufacturing negatively impacts China’s GDP in many ways, from cost of energy inputs to the increasing negative environmental and health impact, all of which result in a drag on GDP and productivity.”

This conference will target delegates across manufacturing industries – delegates that have been prescreened, qualified, and selected regarding their need to implement new technologies into their manufacturing process.

Ringier personnel believe that this landmark event about green manufacturing technology provides a timely theme and an exceptional opportunity for companies to leverage the event for publicity and to showcase the latest products and technologies related to clean manufacturing.
