Bystronic breaks ground for new North American headquarters

Hauppauge, N.Y. – Bystronic Inc. recently broke ground for its new multi-million dollar North American headquarters based in Elgin, Illinois, which will provide a more central location in serving this market.

Hauppauge, N.Y. – Bystronic Inc. recently broke ground for its new multimillion dollar North American headquarters based in Elgin, Illinois, which will provide a more central location in serving this market. The ground-breaking ceremony on January 21 was attended by local Elgin town officials and press as well as industry press.

The new location will be a 48,300 square foot build-to-suit building complete with a 10,000 sq. ft. office, a 14,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 24,300 sq. ft. spare parts and logistics area. The new building will be the marketing, sales and training headquarters for North America. A grand opening celebration is planned for October 2011.

Bystronic Inc. provides customers with innovative laser cutting, waterjet cutting and press brake systems, system software, and comprehensive customer training and support. Offices are also located in Chicago, Toronto, Canada and Guadalajara, Mexico.
