Laser Photonics LLC has announced the completion of its state-of-the-art application processing lab, where clients and potential customers can send their product as samples to be processed by a specific laser system.

The lab is 65,000 sq ft, including the newly refurbished clean room. This lab will eventually include over 20 laser systems and Laser Photonics will now be able to process customer samples within a week.

The systems will be used for processing all cutting, marking and deep engraving applications using lasers up to 5kW. These systems are equipped with both CO2 and fiber lasers and will be used to process almost every type of material.

"This completion is a major step forward for Laser Photonics LLC in our goal to turn around our customer samples as quickly as possible. In the past, we have been constrained by limited space, but now we have the resources to exceed our customer's expectations," states Wayne Tupuola, VP of Operations.

Due to the size of the Laser Photonics product line, it is essential to have a large applications lab to be able to process the hundreds of samples received monthly. Sample processing is one of the most important steps in the sales process. Every sample can now be performed on the correct machine, video taped, logged into the database and sent back out.
