    Laser Photonics LLC, Lake Mary, FL, has won one of six Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission's industry innovation awards. The William C. Schwartz awards are given out to companies who have had a significant impact in their respective industries in a geographic area the commission serves.

Schwartz awards are given out to companies who have had a significant impact in their respective industries in a geographic area the commission serves.

    Laser Photonics, which develops laser cutting marking and engraving machinery used in the aerospace, defense, and electronic industries, won the award for Seminole County, FL.

    • HD Supply Inc.
    • Planar Energy Devices Corp.

    The awards honor William C. Schwartz, a community leader, business pioneer, and innovator within the fields of photonics and optics.
