International workshop on fiber lasers coming Nov. 5-6

Within this event, EPIC is organizing a workshop on "Fiber Laser Markets: Key challenges and opportunities," which will take place on Thursday, November 6 from 08:30 to 16:00 (see program below). EPIC is granting its members a 100 euros discount on the registration fee to be paid directly by EPIC after the workshop.

Oct 17 08 - A full line of field-replaceable lenses and turning mirrors for lower power laser systems used for engraving and marking wood, plastics, and light metals is available from Laser Research Optics, Providence, RI. These lenses and turning mirrors are optimized for 10.6 µm where depth of field is critical and provide <0.2% total absorption values.
