LasitUSA introduces LaserTab compact laser marking system

Oct. 31, 2008
Oct 31 08 - Lasit USA (Branford, CT) has introduced its newest LaserTab, a compact, desktop fiber laser marking system with a motorized Z axis with 15.75 inch travel. The fully enclosed Class One system comes complete with a fiber laser, galvo scan head, computer, and FlyX and FlyCad software.

Tooling area starts at 12 x 16 inches and larger. Additional side enclosures or expanded cavities can be added for any size longer or larger parts.

Fully air cooled, with a compact footprint, service-free, and the highest reliability (over 100,000 hours MTBF) virtually eliminates the need for any maintenance. A low voltage power source with increased power efficiency up to 50% reduces operating costs, making this a cost effective laser for any business.

Oct 31 08 - Newport Corp. (Irvine, CA) has released the ESP301 three-axis motion controller and driver, the successor of the ESP300 motion controller. Because it provides the same functionality as the ESP300 with a supplemental, standard USB interface and extended front panel functions, the ESP301 is an good solution for a wide range of motion applications.
