PRIMA North America has announced that Laserdyne Systems will hold its annual User Group Meeting on October 1 and 2, 2008, near its Champlin (Minneapolis), MN, facility. The meeting will announce and demonstrate Laserdyne's latest technology, and provide system user speakers from around the world.

The first day of the two-day conference will feature speakers from Laserdyne Systems, as well as system users. The second day will include a tour of the Laserdyne Systems facility. The plant visit will make use of the Technology Center's systems for demonstrations based on the previous day's presentations. This year the meeting, as well as the plant visit, will focus on addressing every day challenges in laser processing and through the use of proprietary Laserdyne software and hardware.

"Laserdyne User Group Meetings began over 25 years ago at the request of customers and became a popular and productive forum for the exchange of information and ideas. Based on the response from last year's meeting, we have decided to have this meeting," said Terry VanderWert, president of PRIMA North America.

There is no cost to attend the meeting other than travel and living expenses. Laserdyne will provide lunches both days and dinner on Wednesday, October 1st. A Group Discount rate has been arranged with the hotel at which the meeting will be held.

"Given feedback from the last meeting, I encourage all users of our systems to consider attending. We have collected requests for demonstrations that will be useful to all who attend," added VanderWert
