3D Systems Corp. has posted a preliminary agenda and begun registration for its annual World Conference on topics that discuss all facets of additive manufacturing technology and its practical applications. The event is scheduled for October 20-23, 2008, in Charlotte, NC.

3D Systems Corp. has posted a preliminary agenda and begun registration for its annual World Conference on topics that discuss all facets of additive manufacturing technology and its practical applications. The event is scheduled for October 20-23, 2008, in Charlotte, NC.

Building off its inaugural 2007 conference that attracted more than 400 attendees from 18 countries, 3D Systems plans to provide another packed agenda featuring industry-renowned presenters, technical lectures, comprehensive exhibits, networking opportunities, and state-of-the-art, hands-on educational facilities.

For qualified applicants, there are no registration or conference fees, and 3D Systems will provide food, beverages, conference transportation and entertainment. There will be a $99 fee for a full day of optional hands-on training classes.

From classes for industry newcomers on how to quickly turn your CAD designs into actual physical parts to advanced presentations for architectural, jewelry, medical, and product design, and hands-on tutorials on self-maintenance tips and tricks, the 3D Systems World Conference plans to have exciting topics for those interested in all facets of Additive Manufacturing technology and its practical applications.

The 3D Systems World Conference will cover all of the 'rapid' technologies and will offer classes and hands-on training for operations of all sizes, skill levels and application needs. This event will gather a diverse group of new and veteran designers, engineers, manufacturers, and industry experts who are the force behind transforming the way companies and individuals design, develop and manufacture new products.
