250 W laser source

Kern Laser’s systems can now be equipped with a 250 W laser source that allows cutting of up to 0.125 in. mild steel.

Wadena, MN - Kern Laser’s systems can now be equipped with a 250 W laser source. This new laser is capable of cutting up to 0.125 in. mild steel, 0.040 in. stainless steel, 3 in. foam, 1 in. acrylic with a fire polished edge, as well as 1 in. wood.

The 250 W laser from Kern Laser Systems gives customers an option that fits between the 150 W and 400 W lasers. This new laser is also lighter and starts at a lower price point than a 400 W, while still capable of cutting thick acrylic and light gauge steel and aluminum. The new 250 W laser will come standard with a full 2-year warranty.
