AdvancedCath, a portfolio company of Inverness Graham Investments, has expanded its outsourced medical device manufacturing platform by acquiring LSA Laser, whose laser welding and micromachining capabilities will complement AdvancedCath's existing catheter and guidewire manufacturing business.

Watertown, MA - AdvancedCath, a portfolio company of Inverness Graham Investments, has expanded its outsourced medical device manufacturing platform by acquiring LSA Laser (Plymouth, MN), whose laser welding and micromachining capabilities will complement AdvancedCath's existing catheter and guidewire manufacturing business.

"LSA Laser is a recognized leader in producing laser machined components and assemblies that no other supplier can deliver. They have a long history as a trusted partner to medical device OEMs, which they've built through engineering expertise and excellent customer service," stated Randall Sword, CEO of AdvancedCath.

LSA Laser specializes in laser cutting, welding, ablation, and marking, and provides precision medical device manufacturing and assembly services to medical device OEMs. The company's components and assemblies are used in a variety of medical devices, including coronary, peripheral, and neurovascular devices, stimulation leads, surgical instruments, dental, and orthopedic devices.
