Hamburg, Germany - Rofin-Sinar has introduced the DC 060 CO2 slab laser, which yields 6kW cutting performance for thicker sheet metals. The laser does not require conventional gas recirculation, which is said to considerably reduce lifetime costs, while energy-saving standby operation leads to minimal energy consumption. A Rofin Control Unit (RCU) enables extended monitoring and control functions, resulting in improved pulse-to-pulse stability, manifold control, and log functions, including E-Service.
