6kW CO2 slab laser

Hamburg, Germany - Rofin-Sinar has introduced the DC 060 CO₂ slab laser, which yields 6kW cutting performance for thicker sheet metals. The laser does not require conventional gas recirculation, which is said to considerably reduce lifetime costs, while energy-saving standby operation leads to minimal energy consumption. A Rofin Control Unit (RCU) enables extended monitoring and control functions, resulting in improved pulse-to-pulse stability, manifold control, and log functions, including E-Service.
